Free coarse fishing is available at Stretton Lakes only 4 miles away from Cottesmore, fish from dawn till dusk. We have six coarse fishing lakes stocked with many types of fish including Mirror, Common and Ghost Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench and Bream. Our fishing lakes are open all year round.
RULES FOR FISHING AT STRETTON LAKES
- Dawn till dusk
- Barbless hooks only
- All nets to be dipped in disinfectant bins
- No fish to be taken
- 1Kg ground bait/person/session
- All litter and excess bait to be removed
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- No boilies
- No fish to be retained in keep nets over 2lbs
- Cars parked at owners risk
